Truffle no 5 has stayed my favorite since i bought it the first time, and i kept the old bottle despite it having leaked all over an old suitcase 2 years in. It’s amber colored now if that’s any point of reference for how long ago I should have thrown it away lol. Point is, I love it. Ive always been a fan of musky scents, and this perfectly balances that with a vanilla sweetness. Ive always gotten compliments on my ALT perfumes, it projects nicely and lasts all day, I’ve even had some clothes come out of the wash still smelling slightly like it, even with an objectively normal amount of sprays (~4 across different areas). That may be a turn off for some but I love the smell so much that I don’t mind. I’ve had other perfumes in the same price range and ALT comes out on top every time. Highly recommend, so much so I kinda want to gatekeep it… lasts longer than a gucci perfume I bought too. I recommend buying the smaller size first though, unless you’re completely in love with it then the bottle itself might die before the perfume runs out (the spray on both of my old ALT purchases degraded slightly abt 2 years or so in, still usable but less spritz and more squirt now).

I also own TFBO and compared to Truffle, Truffle’s topnotes are the same as TFBO except stronger. Truffle’s base notes don’t last as long as TFBO. Apart from those 2 things, it’s nearly identical to TFBO.

I love deep fragrances and this dupe is no exception. It goes on strong and then softens and stays with you. I’ve had in on for 4 hours today and can still smell it. The sillage and staying power are medium but for $49 I can spray as many sprays as I want while not being particular about saving it for special occasions. Cons: Regarding concerns, my first was the shipping experience. I ordered this bottle and another and I could smell both before I even open the package. When I opened the perfumes they both had a lot of liquid in the sprayer/cap area. I cleaned them up and left the cap off because it seemed to exacerbate the problem. Second, the sprayer is pretty cheap feeling. Be careful to not push too hard or be rough with it when using it. Even though the those cons did exist, for $49 (basically 25% of the original price), I got 2 oz. of something I can feel sexy in and enjoy every day. I highly recommend :).

I was skeptical about wearing this fragrance since it’s mainly marketed for women, but guys let me tell you don’t shy away from this one, I received many complements and no one said I smelled like a female, I would highly recommend sampling first (5ML) because it reacts to an individuals skin chemistry, from my experience it doesn’t smell the same on everyone hence the reason it doesn’t smell too feminine on my skin, I’ll be buying a full bottle from ALT and Tom Ford it’s that good

I have 11 of the ALT. Fragrances. It has been MY experience that Truffle is by far the most attention grabbing of all the fragrances. I wore it out in public at an event and I couldn’t take two steps without a woman noticing the scent. I received numerous compliments and was physically grabbed three times (no exaggeration). As far as how close it is to Black Orchid… does it really matter at this point lol? It’s pretty close to the black and gold bottle black orchid. The all black black orchid has some weird spice going on that isn’t contained in this rendition. All in all this one is a 5 star for more dawg.

A lot of sites list this as a feminine fragrance, but seems more masculine to me. Yes it is sweet and floral but also dark and spicy. This is truly a sexy fragrance. I get 8 hours of performance on my skin with good projection for the first few hours. The scent trail is amazing.
