I don’t know what the original smells like. I bought it because people seemed to like the dupe. It smells good for about an hour and then it changes and it ends up having that strong musky smell that I do not like.

Have several alt colognes and by mistake reordered this one so now I have 2. Mine smells like straight baby powder. Wife and kids hate it. My least favorite.

All three of the fragrances I ordered are exactly the same as the brand name version and the difference is the price and the fancy bottles. Also the spray device on one of my bottles was not working.
