I bought the Saxophone because I love Jazz Club but it doesn’t last long on my skin. Saxophone, however, lasts a very long time on me and it also smells great (very similar to Jazz Club). What was ridiculous was the nearly $16 shipping for an items shipped via first class mail. How insulting. It probably cost them $3 to $4 max, so this is just another income stream for them.

Apparently the pandemic took away my ability to go to Jazz Clubs as well as the ability to read because I thought this was a female/ gender neutral scent and straight out of shipping it wasn’t. It smelled like my dads “Cool water” circa 1998. BUT it turned into something absolutely delightful. The best way I can describe this smell is what I imagine a high class stripper smells like after dancing on a sexy man. It is spicy but with an undertone of vanilla that makes me imagine she had been wearing her scent longer. On me it feels like a proud walk of shame It is a trophy smell. An “I went out and had fun” smell. It’s not masculine and alcohol driven ENOUGH for me to think it is strictly associated with men, but there is enough to make me feel implicitly sexy wearing it. It’s very “spicy” and I don’t think women who like smelling like flowers and peaches are going to embrace it the way I do.

When I tell you I am floored after receiving this I mean it. I’ve always loved Jazz Club and have carefully nursed my travel size because it’s $40. I always wanted this to be my signature scent but couldn’t rationalize spending the money for a full size bottle.
