I have always loved Another 13 and have bought several of the sample sizes from Le Labo but have never been quite sold enough to go for the full size. When I saw that Alt had a highly rated dupe for half the price I was intrigued enough to try it out. So glad I did. It smells identical! So, I’m new to the fragrance world and am very picky. I normally use Alien from Mugler for how gender neutral it smells to me. This scent has a very clean scent to it and the middle note of pear is great. I’m not sure what I’m smelling as the day goes on because it smelled borderline like cologne after mixing with my own pheromones or however the science works which was interesting. It’s a good smell. The only drawback for me is that the smell does NOT go away unless you shower. I know the staying power is good for some.

When I say this is my absolute favorite comfort scent, bedtime scent, my most intimate, delicious, wrapped-in-a-cloud, sweet, soft clean musk scent… I mean it! I’m on my second bottle. Something unique about Simply Another is that it’s for fragheads and perfume non-enthusiasts alike. It’s so cozy and natural yet also complex; for those averse to strong florals, citruses, or woody fragrances, they may find comfort and bliss using Simply Another. You can douse yourself in this and it won’t be overwhelming to you or those around you. It lasts a good while on skin and much longer on clothes and hair. This one is so well blended that it’s almost difficult to pick out the distinct components, but wearing it more and more, I am able to pick out the sweetness, though not too fruity, is it reminiscent of an unripe pear note. The ambergris provides some warmth and wetness to the fragrance, without much saltiness, and the ambrette adds some mellow sweetness and a second-skin quality. Try layering this with Particle No. 00 to elevate the coziness and bring out the Iso E Super note (that cozy, warm, skin-like note) even more! This is one of my all-time favorites!
