I’m not a fragrance expert just a gal who likes to smell good. If you are looking for a review of “silage” “notes” and things like that scroll on. If you want to know if your co-workers are going to call you Smelly Shelly here’s your review.
I’m not familiar with the “inspiration” of this so it’s based on the bottle as is. It’s so great!! Wow it has an elegant adult air. Not Grandmas Attic at all. It smells like class but with a fun side. Meaning it can go day to night. Nothing lasts on me so not fair to judge that but it was not any less wear time than my super spendy bottles of authentic BR540 or Santal. My husband commented that I smelled nice so yea for that! It’s a fresh clean scent. Hard to describe not sure I would have associated it with the beach? For the price this will certainly be a reorder. Shipping was perfect no damages at all. Would love to see option of purchase with purchase of a car or purse size of same scent for reapplying during the day.

I have not smelled the original so I can’t speak to how well it performs as a Dupe or not. I normally don’t like citrusy scents, but the sea salt balances out the grapefruit in the spray. Very lovely, long lasting sent! In my opinion performs as unisex.

This just arrived today- I love the original wood sage and sea salt but the price tag is ridiculous so I decided to give this one a try. I sprayed one wrist with this and the other with the Jo Malone and I can honestly say I can’t tell the difference between the two. This gives me double the amount of my Jo Malone bottle for half the price! I am beyond impressed and will definitely be repurchasing from ALT!!
